ZDF Fernsehgarten in Mainz: Lights, camera, action - Strong appearance for our SERVICE CHANNEL
HAURATON has fitted channels in the ‘ZDF Pool Stage 2020’ project in the Mainz broadcasting centre. Up to 6000 visitors can enter the ZDF TV Garden premises for the live Sunday broadcast which has been transmitted for over 30 years. Various events also take place on the site. With the spectacular pool stage, shows can take place on a technically complex stage construction above a pool, directly in front of viewers.
Lay cables quickly, keep routes free of obstacles
The SERVICE CHANNEL FASERFIX SUPER 150 was selected for redesigning the pool stage. The requirement: Cables and wires should not have to be routed across paths, must be installed quickly and be able to be removed just as quickly during events and television productions. This is to keep access routes safe and easily accessible. The SERVICE CHANNELS FASERFIX SUPER with solid cover in the E 600 loading class make this possible.
They also guarantee the following in the ZDF Fernsehgarten
• quick laying of cable lines to the stage areas
• traffic-safe crossing for lorries, forklifts and other vehicles when
setting up an event
• unobstructed usage of pedestrian and rescue routes during events
Efficient: Covers fixed with SIDE-LOCK locking system
Opening, removing and installing cables and wires without any tedious unscrewing: Simple opening and traffic-safe locking with the SIDE-LOCK system saves time by up to 90 per cent when fixing and loosening covers.
Furthermore, as part of the RECYFIX PRO construction project, both drainage channels and trash boxes were fitted with recycled composite gratings, as were FASERFIX KS 100 Type 01 channels with GUGI ductile iron mesh gratings and RECYFIX POINT 30/30 point drainage with ductile iron grating, loading class B 125. An obvious visual bonus for the ZDF Fernsehgarten: All channel systems and gratings provide a homogeneous appearance. This creates a seamless overall image, in spite of differing requirements. Lights, camera....action!
